Report: OPEC, non-OPEC meeting can take place Dec 10
MOSCOW, Dec 2 (PRIME) -- A meeting between OPEC states and non-OPEC oil producers can take place on December 10 in Moscow, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing a source with knowledge of the situation.
The Russian Energy Ministry declined to comment. The meeting was earlier preliminarily scheduled for December 9.
On Wednesday, OPEC agreed to reduce their daily oil production by 1.2 million barrels to 32.5 million barrels from January 1, 2017 until the end of June. Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia welcomed the agreement and is ready to cut its own oil output by 300,000 barrels gradually if OPEC daily oil production reaches 32.5 million barrels including Indonesia.
